The Scope

Receptek worked with Main Contractor Vinci and Architect The Manser Practise to design, manufacture and install the specialist furniture package including Reception Desks, Nurse Stations, Bespoke Seating, Specialist wall panels and Storage. The incorporation of full medical services into the bespoke chemo pods delivers a compliant but informal finish conducive to a positive patient experience.

“Particularly challenging in this project was the incorporation of artwork printed into the real wood veneer wall panels and bespoke storage fronts. With all due respect one was never convinced about the abstract wall artwork on this project that looks like temporary decorating works! Yes, that is art! However it was a pleasure to be included as a key player in such an important medical facility.”

Receptek proposed the use of recycled glass for the worktops on the main reception desk. The net result is stunning with what appears and feels like stone yet without the typical joining issues associated with stone.
