Receptek worked with architects, Swanke Hayden Connell, to develop the design for the fitted furniture in an all-new Hybrid Theatre in a leading Private Hospital in London. This consisted of specialist wall-mounted storage, worktop and IPS to the anaesthetic room and fully-fitted storage units to the theatre itself.
“You would not believe the attention to detail on this project. The design aspirations were as bold as the floor colour! We achieved it, though. Of course!”
Through Recepteks delightful response to the initial brief, our hospital’s children’s ward has been provided with a new bespoke staff base which continues to give pleasure to staff, patients and visitors alike.
Reception desks within hospital environments endure a tremendous amount of wear and tear. Our furniture design sought to create a sleek, contemporary and timeless desk that the Trust can reconfigure and replace any elements when spoilt. The design result is practical and impressive. Receptek implemented all of our ideas and also added additional input to the design that made the finished product better than we imagined.
I have had the pleasure of dealing with Receptek during the development of staff bases and receptions on the Barts and the London Hospitals project for a number of years. After a comprehensive and iterative process involving the Trust, Architects and us as the Building Contractor, Receptek came up with the winning design which impressed all the parties involved. By combining features such as elegant aesthetics with the practical benefits of replaceable panels, the product developed has satisfied all of the needs as specified at the outset.
Recepteks design proposals were 1st class and the quality of the finished product more than delivers the original design intent.
I have just returned from Guthrie Wing, and the refurbishment works look absolutely terrific. Many thanks to the whole team. Recepteks response to a very tight schedule was as good as their promise.
